Everyone at advance pain management is very nice. They make u feel right at home th moment you walk into the place. Whether it is upstairs where u see the Dr or if it is down on ground floor where they do procedures and surgeries. Dr. Fik and Dr. Eric Schmidt are 2 of the nicest dr I have ever gone to. They have both done a great job of making my back not hurt all the time. I have been to many drs. Bridget is a wonderful, caring person. And excellent practitioner. She had helped me go from 10 tabs/day down to 6 tabs/day, all the while taking into account my chronic pain and life events. I am ṛeally going to miss her personal caring. And her laugh. I'm going to miss her laugh, too. Thanks Bridget for all your caring and concern. You'll be missed.
I just finished my first visit at Advanced Pain and I am so very impressed! From the front desk, to the nurses administering tests, to meeting with the doctor and then leaving the office EVERYTHING WAS DIFFERENT!!! This was the most caring and thoughtful medical experience I have ever had! (...and I have had 14 surgeries in the past 5 years so I know!)
I don’t quite know how to review the experience I had today seeing Doctor Fiks. It was my first visit, a referral from my primary care doctor. The first thing I was asked to do was to take a cognitive assessment of some sort, which took about 20 minutes . And could be considered borderline abusive.. I’m not sure what the point of that was except for data extraction. I was also asked to give a urine sample.. I had an initial interview/consultation that was paid for in full. Subsequently I notified the office that I had chosen a different surgeon for treatment of my back pain and would not be returning to or accepting any further service from Advanced Pain Management Clinic. I have since been billed for a visit during the following month that did not occur, as well as for remote monitoring for the next 3 months that I did not sign an agreement for or receive.
