Would not recommend. I was seen by Maggie once which was the best derm experience i’ve had and once by Dr. Kushner. Dr. Kusher clearly does not care about her patients and it’s very upsetting. I went in for a scar that wasn’t going away, when Dr. Kushner told me I was gonna have to live with it and that whatever caused it was gonna have me on pills for the rest of my life, eventually she recommended me a cream but for some reason they wouldn’t send it to the pharmacy, I asked if they could take my secondary insurance since I... read more
DO NOT GO HERE! I was a new patient back in early October and I STILL haven’t gotten the proper medication I need. I’ve been going back-and-forth with the pharmacy and her office but she clearly doesn’t care enough for her patients to send the proper medication. When I had my first (and last) consult with her, I felt like she wouldn’t let me speak and kept interrupting me. Not to mention, I had a long waiting time just to see her for a five minute NEW PT appointment. The office also has a weird smell. 0/10 experience
Needed a new dermatologist after having a few rough experiences with my local derm and booked an appt with Dr. Kushner’s office. Was a smooth experience, start to finish. The receptionist and office staff were professional, welcoming and kind. I was seen promptly and Dr. Kushner was very nice and attentive to my current issue of hair loss yet also reassured me that there was a proper solution and prescribed to me the proper starting point meds and serum. Very pleased with my visit.
Unfortunately, didn’t even get to see any of the doctors heard great things about Maggie but after I was waiting 30 minutes in the waiting room, I realized that other people were complaining of a long wait. They had three people in rooms not being seen yet and one person had to meet in the waiting room. That means at least a two hour wait. Office staff/management is horrible. You will be waiting 45+ min past appointment time, every time. On more than one occasion had to walk out of exam room because it was taking so long. Prescriptions don't get submitted when they tell you they did/are going too. Maggie is a great Dr, sad that the issues make it worth going else where.
