Staff was friendly and efficient. Doctor took his time to explain everything to me and showed that he cared. Has a straight-to-the-point-slightly-gruff tone about him but it’s more of an old school NY thing than a bedside manner thing. Actually made me nostalgic. Doctor really made me feel like he wanted what was best for me and I appreciated his candor. Funny too. Dr. Kamelhar goes well above and beyond for the sake of his patients. He is extremely committed to getting to the bottom of any issue and truly cares. He’s very data-driven and analytical and includes patient self-report as part of that data. He’s reachable and responsive. One can feel very secure that his judgement is backed by both clinical evidence and years of experience. Dr. K is one of the best doctors I have ever had and I am very thankful.
My experience with Dr. Kamelhar was top tier as as was with his entire staff. Dr. Kamelhar was so engaging in his interaction with me and it was clear that not only is he an absolutely brilliant doctor in his field but he cared deeply for my well being. Dr. Kamelhar made sure that I knew he had my best interest at heart and I was not alone on this journey. I am blessed to have been highly referred to him.
This was my first visit with Dr Kamelhar. I was a transfer patient from his colleague. Dr. Kamelhar was very attentive and did a thorough examination and informed me of my successes and his concerns. He complimented me on my knowledge of my body, medications, and followup with all my doctors and vaccines. He had reviewed my history and knew my story. I was impressed and feel good about this transfer.
Called the office a few times to get prescription refill for an inhaler. The front desk transfers to the voicemail line. I left a voicemail. No response. I sent a message to the doctor through the office portal. I received no response but absolute ignorance.
