Very disappointed. A short amount of consultation then leaving me wait a long time while he saw another patient, while I numbed (takes about five-ten minutes; before a quick look by scope), behooves him but not me. My time's not important. Also, the prices are very high. I still don't approve of the exorbitant charges even though Medicare was billed. They still billed me, to get more. Dr. Cohen's office is not a Doctors office it's a financial institution. They're in the money making business. Number one priority is to figure out a way on how to bill an insurance company for a simple follow-up visit to make money. My wife went in for a procedure that I paid in full, she also went to two visits. One before the procedure and one after the procedure both paid in person for the copay. This place is a complete wack job of a joke. Their billing department runs a circus. If you go for one simple visit, expect to get incorrect billing statements mailed to you in the future. I went in for a visit where I paid my co pay in full and they sent me 325$ worth of charges. Days of going back and forth with the billing department, Daniella from the billing department finally advised me that the billing manager, Michelle, sent out an incorrect statement. Now that she bullied me in to paying the $200 in the middle of my father's funeral you guys wanna discuss? Well it's over , if you over charged its over, I believe in karma,if it was correct next time have your employees have the professionalism to respectfully explain to customer, you have the money, be happy, nothing more to discuss

I waited over a year after my procedure to write this review. But since I take to yelp often to find great healthcare practitioners, I felt it was necessary to finally comment on my experience with Dr. Cohen and my balloon sinus procedure. However, unfortunately I cannot recommend him, as well as the in office sinus balloon procedure he performed. Update: I had not been contacted regarding this matter until I received the collection letter. So your "policy" is not being implemented appropriately. And an FYI to those reading this review: no one has looked into this issue to attempt to "resolve it promptly and appropriately". Thanks for posting a generic response to pretend you care.

I had a very bad experience as soon as I came to the office they try to sell me. They charged me close to $900 for consultation that they told me it supposed to be for free. after Alan Cohen plastic surgery I had to do a second plastic surgery with different doctor. Not happy at all with the results what they only care about is to sell and get you under his knife without really making sure that what he doing is the best for you and it makes you look very good

Disappointing experience. I was scheduled for surgery to get my septum fixed and three days beforehand I received a call from the surgery center for prep and saying my co-pay would be an additional $2,895 on top of what the surgeon quoted me for his services and I had to cancel. I called the admin Lupe to ask why this cost wasn't included with the total quote and instead of empathy and trying to come up with a solution to work it out her response was, "I've been doing this for 10 years I know I mentioned it."
